Important Guidelines For Registration Please read this information before completing attached forms
1. DEADLINES Deadlines for completing the enclosed forms are as follows:

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION REQUIREMENTS The
dates of arrival in Dhaka, Bangladesh and flight numbers should be
communicated to the Conference Secretariat (+880 2 9143 501), Parliament
of Bangladesh by 25 July 2003 on Form No. 1 “Travel and
Accommodation”, so that arrangements can be made to meet delegations at
the airport and book sufficient hotel rooms.
3. BIOGRAPHICAL
DETAILS Please
attach 2 passport size photographs with the name of the delegate
printed on the back of each. The
original biographies form and the photographs should be sent to the
Conference Secretariat. This will ensure that the delegate's photograph
and biographical information appear in the biographies booklet. A copy
(without photos) should be sent to the Secretariat. Please
note that biographies for publication will be derived from the material
given in Form No. 2 “Biography Form”.
If biographies are too lengthy, editorial decisions may be made to
summarize the biographies. 4. OTHER
INFORMATION Details
of the numbers of delegates and secretaries each Branch is entitled to
send are set out in individual letters of invitation from the host Branch.
Where a Branch has been invited to send a Branch Secretary (or
other Branch official) he or she is invited to accompany the delegation as
its Secretary and to serve on the Conference Secretariat.
4.2
Official Observers CPA
Branches, which have been invited to send an official observer, must meet
the costs of their own travel to and from Bangladesh, but the Bangladesh
Branch will be responsible for their internal transport, hotel expenses
and official entertainment. The dates of arrival in Bangladesh and flight
numbers should be communicated to CPA Bangladesh Branch when known so that
arrangements can be made to meet delegations at the airport. 4.3
Other invited Observers Other
invited observers are responsible for meeting the costs of their travel to
the Conference, and will be charged an observer fee of US$3,000 in
Bangladesh which will cover the costs of internal transport, hotel
expenses and official entertainment at the conference. 4.4
Spouses Conference
Participants are welcome to bring along their spouses at their expense. In
such an event, a Spouse fee of US$ 1000 will be payable to the host Branch
to help defray the cost of internal transport, hotel expenses and official
entertainment during the period of the Plenary Conference. Kindly note
that following CPA custom no children of whatever age can be accepted
in any circumstances. 4.5

note that travel should be routed to Dhaka. Executive
Committee Members and those attending the Conference of Members from Small
Countries For
those attending either the Executive Committee Meeting or Commonwealth
Women Parliamentarians Steering Committee in Dhaka should note the
applicable day of arrival. For
further details please refer to the Information Circular. 5. INFORMATION The
CPA Secretariat will write to Branches separately to send further
information about the conference, and information about how to reclaim
travel expenses.
